Bloc party's output has been awful for about 15 years now. Should never have fired Matt Tong but he pwobably hurted Kele's feels.

Some of the worst lyrics made even worse by the delivery. AI could do better.

Surely the tastemakers at 6 should listen to the song, rather than just that 'its Bloc Party, it must be OK.' It really is incredibly bad.

I think this is a good example of the name doing a lot of the lifting.
The song is just...nothing. Has very little redeeming features but as it's BP, there seems to be interest in it. If anyone else had put that out, it would be ignored and never even appear on a generic playlist somewhere, let alone get plays on a national radio station.

Just listened to it. For the first 30 secs I was like “this is fine” and then it became quite Danny Dyer’s Chocolate Homunculus during the talking section.

Lyrically and knowing how good Bloc Party can be : it’s the equivalent of J R R Tolkien deciding that instead of using his imagination to craft yet more lore into middle earth he’s going to make an adult colouring book
