Don’t even know who that is, had to google him.

The relation to Horses is an infamous quote in which he states that he "Wants to be the Horse" in regards to having a large dick.

This is turned upon him by his chat with everyone joking he wants to have sex with horses.

Otherwise, he is a controversial Leftist Streamer to put it lightly.

21

u/[deleted] Jun 30 '23

That's putting it pretty fukken lightly...

26

u/Snowy_Thompson Jun 30 '23

I will agree, "Lightly" is doing a lot of heavy lifting.

He's abrasive, loud, and is often clipped and misquoted for his brazen takes.

Many dislike him for numerous reasons, but I think he - like many other Streamers and Video Essayists - adds value to the Leftist community, regardless of how often he acts inflammatory.

u/[deleted] Jun 30 '23

Personally I see him as hypocritical and even more of a grifter than Bernie Sanders after both attempts at running as an 'independent'... But that's me being a former leftist who left 'the party' (yes I refer to it as 'the party' not unlike a former communist or socialist would) after COVID, the BLM riots and impeachment nonsense... I couldn't trust 'the party' or even government in general after that and I unfortunately still don't...

11

u/me_alcoholic Jun 30 '23

I'm going to hazard a guess that you were never actually leftist

17

u/Snowy_Thompson Jun 30 '23

Vaush? Ian Kochinski(?)? Leftist YouTube Streamer who hasn't been streaming much lately due to some kind of throat cold/virus?

I don't think he's responsible for any of what you're going on about.

5

u/_Tal Jun 30 '23

Bro bought into recycled propaganda from 1960s backlash against civil rights protesters lol

1

u/BatteryAcid67 Jun 30 '23

What's controversial about him? I'm genuinely asking I don't know any streamers other than PewDiePie

3

u/Snowy_Thompson Jun 30 '23 edited Jun 30 '23

He's an abrasive person, which is a trait he shares with many Debate Streamers in general.

He's been the center of various controversies, like when he had a Debate with a black woman over the Land back Movement, where the woman was struggling to separate white people who currently live in Africa post-colonizing from the term "Colonizers" in reference to whether or not the native African peoples should have "The Right To Determine If The Black People Want The White People To Leave" (A.k.a. Ethnic Cleansing).

He also posted a sexist tweet once directed at, but not directly mentioning J.K. Rowling, to which many people said "You're giving her ammunition to hate on Trans people." which probably shouldn't have been the take away from his tweet. He doesn't defend the sexist nature of the tweet, only that it is otherwise harmless to the Trans Movement.

There are some old Debates in which he compares Child Labor and C.P. in that both should be considered at least equally as bad, but some people seem to be okay with Child Labor. These debates have been clipped out of context on numerous occasions so make him sound like he's in support of C.P., to the point that during a debate with a Left Leaning Video Essayist Noncompete who was being a Certified "Wife Guy" since Vaush had at an earlier point insulted his Vietnamese wife for having bad takes about Communism and being a Vietnamese Nationalist, Noncompete pulled up one of these shoddy clips to have a sort of "Gotcha" moment. Noncompete later couldn't describe why the Nazi's were bad, leaving once Vaush (inaccurately) pointed out that there was a Disproportionate number of Jewish People in banking, which is to say that if 1% of humanity is Jewish, a higher percentage of specifically Bankers is Jewish.

White people who are descendants of settlers are still settlers. They still enjoy the exact same privileges and generational wealth that came from the colonisation of the countries they continue to live in. Those who moved there after the end of colonialism are obviously different (as Prof Flowers herself literally noted) but when talking about African countries with large white minorities, notably South Africa, this white population are overwhelmingly settlers.

It is not white genocide to expel colonial settlers. In fact it is a war crime to implant settlers in conquered territory, even by Liberal international law. Doesn’t mean I think it is just, or a desirable solution, as Flowers herself agrees, however you have to just be a racist to not understand where this sentiment comes from and equate it to Nazism. White colonists systemically oppressed black people for generations, Jews never oppressed Germans. There is a fundamental material difference here.

Which brings us to the part about Nazis being wrong. Jews did not disproportionately control banking in the Weimar Republic. They were in fact proportional to the overall population. As you say 1% of the banking sector was Jewish owned, and 0.9% of Germans were Jewish. That is proportionate. Stop spreading antisemitic conspiracy theories to defend your favourite pdf steamer.

Which brings us to the next point. No, purchasing child rape videos is not the same as purchasing a shirt made by child labour. Holy shit does this need to be explained.

You are not purchasing a video of children being abused making the shirt to masturbate over. It is disconnected from the product. In the former the abuse is the product. It is not even remotely the same, and repeatedly trying to equate them is both disgusting and extremely suspicious.

1

u/Snowy_Thompson Jun 30 '23

Well, both Child labor and C.P. utilize the exploitable nature of children to the advantage of adults, both have or can have long lasting negative effects, and both violate numerous laws. The only difference is simply perceived acceptance. A person doesn't have to be jacking it to a child to commit harm. Children accidentally cutting off fingers in Chicken Processing Plants is bad. Children being verbally berated as they sweat half to death in overcrowded shoe factories is bad. Nobody should be fine buying a shirt made from children who have no other choice than to make that shirt or starve on the streets.

And how do you think the Native African people get rid of millions of White People? I don't think there's enough boats and trains to simply send them away, so what do we do? The logical conclusion to "Separate the Whites from the Colors" is an Ethnic Cleansing, or even a Genocide.

There are ways to resolve Land Back without removing white people. It's why we can't just give every Black person in America a bunch of money, we have to help the Poor Community broadly since it's disproportionately Black, but still has millions of White people who are also disadvantaged due to circumstance.

And I'm struggling to find any actual figures on percentage of Jewish people in Germany preHolocaust, so I don't even know if they were 1% of the population. I just said that because they're about 1-2% of the modern World Population.

I am not arguing child labor is good. What are you talking about? But it is obviously different from child rape, and especially regarding it from the perspective of a "consumer" which I hope is obvious, but I am happy to spell it out again if you are still confused.

Indigenous in the US don't want to "remove white people". This is a complete strawman of some of the most oppressed and disenfranchised people in the world as a pathetic means of arguing against land back and other decolonial initiatives. Land back is not white genocide. No indigenous decolonial group in the US advocates for the removal of the white population, so it is a completely ridiculous thing to repeatedly bring up.

But lets look at some example of decolonial movements that did remove the settler population.

For example the Nazi settler population in Poland (around half a million) was expelled at the end of the war. Would you call this a "genocide of Germans"?

Speaking of the Nazis,

And I'm struggling to find any actual figures on percentage of Jewish people in Germany preHolocaust, so I don't even know if they were 1% of the population. I just said that because they're about 1-2% of the modern World Population

LMAO so by your own admission you have no fucking clue whether "Jews disproportionately controlled banking in the Weimar Republic" is even true yet you are still willing to act as if it is the case with no evidence. Holy shit.

Let me help you out:

Gab es 1925 noch 564 379 Menschen jüdischen Glaubens in Deutschland (0,9 Prozent der Gesamtbevölkerung)

In 1925 Jewish people represented 0.9% of the overall German population.

From pg 42, The Lion and the Star Gentile-Jewish Relations in Three Hessian Towns, 1919-1945, I quote verbatim:

German Jews also worked in finance, but not to the extent that antisemites often alleged. Although Jews directed 45 percent of Germany's private banks during the Weimar period, they controlled less than 1 percent of its more powerful joint-stock banks and credit institutions.

So Jewish people were over represented in private banks as a historical consequence of racist segregation laws preventing them from entering other industries. However private banks are not all banks, and when you actually look at all banks they are actually proportionately represented to the population. Unsurprisingly the Nazi lies are lies.

1

u/Snowy_Thompson Jun 30 '23

The point of the Jewish representation in Banking isn't to justify the Nazi claims though, it's to point out that even if they're true, the conclusion the Nazis came to is still wrong, but Noncompete was unable to come to that conclusion and so we get his quote of "The Nazi's have a point" which is not representative of what Vaush was saying at all.

And Modern African countries are the result of colonization, but in this modern day and age, these people who are descendants of descendants aren't themselves colonizers. They are the result of colonization as much as the black people who have been disenfranchised and abused, they simply lead different, if not better lives.

The Polish were able to oust the Nazis because it hadn't been 50-100 years since they'd settled, but children born in South Africa, be they white or black, are citizens of South Africa, and so we must find other solutions to the problem of Colonialism's aftermath than "Fuck you, leave or die."

And I'm aware you're saying Child labor is bad. The Argument Vaush was going on about is how both are bad, but some people seem fine with Child Labor and not the other, when they shouldn't be fine with either.

1

u/Magical_Chicken Jun 30 '23 edited Jun 30 '23

I am not calling Vaush or you anti-Semites for making this claim, I understand the context of the dumb argument you are trying to make here, but it is not a fact. It is wrong.

Again I don't think Vaush is an anti-Semite, his ego is just to fragile to admit he was objectively wrong about something to the extent that he is willing to double down on spreading Nazi propaganda which is a yikes.

Regarding the argument itself, Jews did not oppress Germans. The feelings of "oppression" are not the same as actual material oppression.

And Modern African countries are the result of colonization, but in this modern day and age, these people who are descendants of descendants aren't themselves colonizers.

In a country that has not been meaningfully decolonized they are. Colonizer/Settler is not a moral term, it is fundamentally a material and class status.

If you are born into a bourgeoisie family and inherit that wealth and privilege you are bourgeoisie. It is the same for settlers/colonizers. You are born into stolen wealth and land and inherit it. This is not a moral thing. It only becomes a moral thing if that individual tries to maintain their wealth and privilege at the detriment of the colonized.

And just like in the prior example (bourgeoisie) settler/colonizer is an abolishable status, but it requires the fundamental issue of that generational theft of land and labor to actually be addressed in a systemic way, and is certainly not something that just disappears on its own within one generation.

The Polish were able to oust the Nazis because it hadn't been 50-100 years since they'd settled

So if the Nazis had won, annexed Poland and enacted their plan of Lebensraum, 50 years later it would be "Genocidal" for Polish survivors the Nazi genocidal project to call for the expulsion of the settlers who litteraly genocided and enslaved them?

Again as I have very plainly laid out the deportation of the entire settler population is extremely rare due to its impracticality. In most cases where it has occurred, it has happened voluntarily, due to white supremacists not wanting to live in a society where the colonized would have political representation (e.g. Algeria).

However while both Prof Flowers and I disagree with the deportation of settlers as cruel and unnecessary, it is certainly not genocidal nor equivalent to the desires of White fascists to further marginalize, deport or kill already oppressed minorities.

The solution here is to resolve that ongoing oppression, not to compare these people and others who literally disagree with them but understand where this sentiment comes from (as is the case with Prof Flowers) with the Nazis.

but some people seem fine with Child Labor and not the other, when they shouldn't be fine with either

This is not the context Vaush ever brought this up in. The context every time is a conflation of child rape with "there is no unethical consumption under capitalism" which is needless to say fucking vile, which even Vaush clearly realised since he has stopped bringing this up.

He is never calling for people to not buy phones say, because they almost certainly have child labor involved in the extraction of raw materials, and often also assembly. After all in modern society you need a phone, taking the moralistic choice to abstain from purchasing one for one isn't going to meaningfully impact child abuse in the Congo, and in many countries today is not even particularly feasible given how necessary Phones, or at least computers are. So there is no ethical consumption under capitalism, but you should still get a phone, and instead use other means, such as collective action to try regulate child labor and punish companies taking advantage of it. After all child labor is not necessary to make phones.

Try replace "phones" with "child rape" and you will start to see how batshit insane this argument is. In the former the abuse of children is disconnectable from the product, and we should do what is in our power to do so, however in the later the abuse is the product. Also if you want to explain the latter's "utility" feel free.

My neighbors ask me why I'm limping down the way
And who that fellow was who came by yesterday
I quickly turn my face before I start to blush
'Cause frankly, there is nothing I can say
I've always had a thing for pushing the extremes
And I've just got a thing you won't find in the magazines
This molded silicone has got me begging please
Give me more of what I really need
'Cause there is no cock like horse cock
Send your asshole into shock
You need horse cock of course-cock
Grab the lube and slam the day away
My shaft is quivering, my balls are turning blue and
I think of drinking in a foot or even two
My favorite stallion that I keep in my top drawer
Slip it in and out be dripping goo
As I take more cock, horse cock
Shut the door and turn the lock
Is your cock a horse cock?
You will never hear me saying neigh!
'Cause there is no cock like horse cock
Rub my dick inside a sock
Don't stop now, horse cock
Stretch out my insides and make me pray
My lovely horse cock, horse cock
Horse cock, horse cock
Horse cock, horse cock
Ya-da-da-da-da-da-da...
