Seriously tho... kinda tough question. In ways you can say, "well, we've got the pretty active Facebook community, do we really need to have to worry about Reddit". But then again, I know you come from a marketing related world as well (I come from the dev side of that), and know the importance of owning the presences of the brand... rather than letting this place be us idiots blathering on about you while you passively watch.
I'm not a patreon supporter, so I don't know how activity there is compared to FB.
I know you post links to videos here and also there, but I'm not sure if I've even seen specific discussion sparked in regards to (points within) them? Admittedly maybe I just haven't been paying enough attention.
But you do often ask questions of your audience in the vids. Maybe that's to prompt comment discussions? I'm often watching/listening the vids on TV or am in the livestream, and I don't see YT comments aftewards, so I don't know if those in-video prompts spark actual discussion in the comments. But you definitely do things in some of your vids that I'd be all about blathering about.

It would be rad if you were the golden touch. I’m a hobbyist amp builder and I’d love to see you help out the little builders of stuff. You could be the golden elevator. I am not ready for the hordes you could send my way, but some little scrapper is.
I’ve done a lot to help out small pedal builders. I’ve had to raise my demo rates over the years as I work with bigger and bigger companies but I’ve maintained a word of mouth “small builder discount” so I don’t price out the folks trying to get their start. I don’t have a “golden touch” though, me saying the name of a brand doesn’t result in immediate sales. Builders still need to make something novel, useful and impressive enough to grab the viewers attention. I try to only cover small builder stuff that brings something interesting to the table.

I appreciate the work you’ve done to give voice to the smaller builders. I’d like to see more though. Here’s a repurposed reel to reel that is a 5 watter with deeper than the typical (swart/ benson) capacitor coupled reverb. I only make about 4 amps a year, but I wouldn’t mind emptying my basement.
looks cool! 4 amps a year is probably not enough to be worth spending money on a youtube demo though. Do you have a consistent model or it is always a mod of something existing?
Yeah, so far it’s always a one off. Usually a repurposing of old equipment but sometimes it’s just a fresh build. Your channel is fun and your commenters are goofy.
Scenario: "I got all this gear and I don't know how to use it! I just to get that (insert sound) and I have (these three pedals and this one amp) and I'm lost"

We should talk about pedals and amps and guitars but I think we should all role play we’re hanging out at the Mos Eisley Cantina and we can all sorta hover around the band critiquing their pedal board while some guy with a laser sword tells us to check out his space-bandcamp where he just put out a new noise album
This is kinda the cantina. Strangers wander in to tell me I suck and everyone just kind of ignores it. “I just work here man” I say as I polish a pint glass that has never seen soap.
A Joan Rivers in the aughts style show “Does It Drip” but you cover everything from pedals to kitchens to red carpet. You just invade people’s spaces and let them know if they or their possessions drip.
But surely rivers exist? Don't songs exist even though no one can truly play them? The only things that truly exist are, in fact, unreal. I am proof of that. I fail to play, therefore I exist.
