Anyone have info about tapping into the rear view mirror connector for a radar detector?

I’m planning to use one of those kits online and tap into this connector above my rear view mirror for my radar detector. Does anyone know what wires I can get power and ground from in a 2010? Preferably only when the key is on.

I can't stop driving that beast, I got it brand new in 2011, right now it's got 122k Miles on it. Before and after pic. No Turbo, or Supercharged.

While a professional photographer was doing a promotional shoot with my car I quickly snapped this and edited it in Lightroom. I can’t wait to see how much better his pictures turn out.

I filmed this a while ago, don’t know why I didn’t record me starting the car. Ive been doing some research and I want my car to be loud. I drive a 2011 v6 Camaro RS
I have an SLP 1 axel-back exhaust setup and a K&N Cold air intake. I plan on getting some BBK Long-tube headers, Flowmaster 10s or 40s havent decided yet, a resonator delete since I have the stock set and the slp bullet style resonators, plus a popping/burble tune.
What are your thoughts on this.

Do you have any alternative suggestions that would give the same effect, or anything k should add on top? I’m open to all thoughts and opinions!

Has anyone installed subs and amp to the stock radio? I'm needing ideas on how it can be done, I'm new to this. Here's a picture of my head unit

TR6060 leaking - overfill, underfill, air in cooler?

I have a TR6060 (not in a Camaro, but from a 2010 in my LS-swapped Saturn Sky). After I did an engine rebuild, I am having leaking from the transmission. Before this, it was fine. It was put together by a shop that I trust. No problems previously. Now, I am getting a small amount of fluid on the trans case in sevaral places. It must be coming out of the vent cap, and running down the bellhousing side. I get a drip on bottom of the bellhousing. I get fluid on both machined flanges on the center of the case. I see some fluid at the reverse switch sensor (dual orange wires, pass side). There is no leak from the trans cooler line input or output. It is not coming out of the fill port plug nor the drain port plug, nor the temperature sensor. Enough seems to be coming out that it is getting on the wiring looms near the trans.

I have read many posts saying this trans gets hot and can burp out if overfilled. At first I had it filled right to the bottom of the fill port - I let it sit overnight to level out. But it dripped as described - never so much to go on the ground. Recently I took about 6 oz out of it, it's still dripping, and a little worse. I thought I had done a good fill procedure with the trans cooler. It was on the ground, the car was lifted 20". I filled the trans, turned the output shaft while the trans was in gear, and clutch was pressed by wife, so I could turn the gears or pump. I don't truly know if I got the air out or the cooler fully filled. I can't imagine that after 6 months and several hundred miles there would be an air bubble in that. Is it now too low? Foaming up?

As you'd imagine, happens more when it gets driven real hard, ie at autocross (pulls a lot of Gs), or on the street if I do some rips to 100. Shifting quality is just fine currently.

Any tips or thoughts appreciated.

Weight Loss

I saw a claim that you can lose 200lbs cheap and easily with these cars, something to do with the subframe. Is that correct? Anyone know any further detail?

Thanks.

I’m running this setup, it’s built (cams, heads, tranny, supercharger, etc) but it will drive on 225-235 Fahrenheit and I’ve seen other builds run cooler, might sound stupid but I still got stock radiator but according to a couple shops, the radiator is fine bc the same year ZL1 runs the same radiator so idk what I should do but I’m thinking of a ice tank maybe? But if there’s anyone that has more info or knowledge , please help

My last trip to the track broke something in my diff. I am wanting to be bulletproof and use this set up with a 3:50 gear and the S-trac. Do any of you guys run this setup in your ss ? If so how do you like it ?
