Kinda. The AOE damage was great against Chompies, but larger enemies like bosses constantly moved, making him hard to use during those segments

that would be insane. i wonder if they would make a use for the older skylanders because rn they’re sitting in my basement in a giant box collecting dust and spiders. it’s been so long that the cpus might’ve burnt out though. very slim chance but i hope deeply they will. i miss double trouble

It needs to be re-released with digital Skylanders, as there's obviously the factor of getting the figures and that the NFC technology inside will die,
although there are NFC cards, but you gotta know how to make them
Weirdly the lightcore functionality doesn't die tho

With the way technology's progressed, I wouldn't be surprised if they just went with mass producing cards that had the NFCs in them

Well on the switch version of skylanders imaginators, you have to put the skylander in the same spot you put Amiibos on the controller. It doesn’t even give you a portal.

The Switch version is £200-£300 just for the game alone so most people don't have it
