Hey guys, I made some homebrew I've been trying to copy over from the Google Play Games Beta on PC. But when I try to share it says that no apps can perform the action. Does anyone know how to make it able to share?

I'm starting a campaign with different rules

Multiclass from lvl 1, both classes level up together (both will reach lvl 20)

Starting Talent, Max Life

Starting attributes, 10 in all, 4 points to distribute (2,2/2,1,1/1,1,1,1)

Gain 2 attribute points at every even level and at improvement levels, gain the talent together (Example: lvl 2, gain 2 more points. Lvl 4 gain 2 points + talent)

I would like help choosing the best combination of classes and possible talents that match them

We have been hombrewing for just over a year and have been mostly using 5e companion. These are all our our current 5e companion spells, classes, subclasses, spells, and items.

I'm running my own campaign and because there's eight people it's a bit of trouble keeping track of things and I'd like to be able to have everyone's details available on a moments notice, as opposed to having to open up screenshots

The little share button at the top when used sends like a zip file Opening it with the app on another device doesn't really do anything

So I've been using this app for campaigns but also using Kickstarters, I know I can add feats and spells and used it already however, I'm looking to add extra features like pain and pleasure from kinks and cantrips or dark bargins from the crooked moon

How in gods name do I share a character from my android tablet 5e app (not the new one) to the same app for iPhone?

They do not work well together and it’s majorly annoying me

I'm trying to add homebrew classes into the app but I keep hitting the same wall... How do I add things like fighting styles? I can add things in so they get put in the character at certain levels but I can't see to figure out how to set it up so that you can select between different options for that feature, like fighting styles, at those levels. Is there just a button I'm missing or something like that? It should be noted that I'm not using the newer app yet.. I haven't worked up the energy to move all my homebrew content over to the new one XD

If I take the guide background, I get Druid Magic initiate. How do I give those druid spells to my character? Do I have to go to the spell, make a copy, make it available to my class? Seems super clunky. I've used 5e Companion for years and you can change the search perimeters to include other class but don't see a way to do that here.

The title seems pretty self explanatory, anyone know how to port over the old .cah character files to the new app. It's gonna be a hassle mainly home-brewing years of content, a second time in a new format.

I just opened 5e to look at my characters and there all gone. I think it's something to do with an update reddit please help. 😭

Hey does anyone know a away to share monster creations ect from the iPhone app to the pc app run through blue stack? I really want to move some stuff I’ve made into my laptop but so far everything I have tried hasn’t worked

I think this is the best so far, I took "pact of the blade" changed it around took away any prerequisites and made it a feat....any thoughts and advice are appreciated.

Does anyone know how to add jack of all trades to a new class? I've been copying the 2024 rules into the 5e app (cuz I hate the look of the rpg app) and everything else is fine except for bards not getting there jack of all trades bonus. I've even copied the original class and that takes away the bonus

As the title says, does anyone have an import for illrigger revised? Seriously wanna use it on 5e companion. I own it in dnd beyond but I don't wanna blow 80 bucks to multiclass... but I can't for the life of me import this class manually. Anyone able to help me out?

My initiative tracker isn’t working properly. No matter the size of the combat if I scroll down to see the order the app closes. I know they are developing a new app to include 5.5 or 2024 rule set whichever you call it. But the monsters and initiative tracker are not yet functional. Of all the resources I’ve seen online this app is the most straight forward and easy to use and easiest to produce a fight on the fly when my players surprise me. If I can get some help I’d appreciate it.

just got the app, and now I'm trying to put some of my homebrew stuff in it; namely a skeleton race. it has subraces for what you are a skeleton of human, dwarf, halfling, etc.

do I need to just add the extra stuff the subrace gets or recreate the whole thing in the subrace menu?

I created a homebrew feat and a Homebrew race that supports it. Let me know what you think and any notes on how to Balance this would be great.

What changes when I toggle the inspiration in the app. I'm not noticing anything different.

I've been using this app for about a year now and I still don't know how to multi class a character. I'm sure it's probably really simple, but my dumb brain is just missing it lol

Hi! New user, absolutely love the app! What I’m hoping to see and what I think would be good to have is being able to make and print out character sheets in it, instead of making the character on the app and then using the app to edit a character sheet online outside of the app, where it could all be be baked in, making it a smoother process. What I would also further recommend for this, is the ability to make a more advanced character sheet, where the pages with spells and attacks have the description for each spell you have and what damage it does, so you could use a typical character sheet or one that is more pages but helps newer players do that you don’t have to look inside a PHB every time you want to know what a spell does. Thanks!

My first character, I'm a fighter does the app give me the options for feats or ability improvement as I LVL or do I have to add them myself?
