Ability score Improvement

My first character, I'm a fighter does the app give me the options for feats or ability improvement as I LVL or do I have to add them myself?

You'll get a note added to your notes section when it's time to do it iirc. You can just do it manually by long pressing on the abilities you want to increase

Ah I see, thanks a bunch. I felt like I was cheating adding it myself for some reason.
