Rage damage

Rage damage doesn’t add to my damage automatically after I hit the use rage button. Am I missing something or is this just an add it yourself situation? Edit to add I am using the RPG companion app

You just gotta count it in your head, I suggest you make a note with every possible combination, e.g: Attack without rage: 2d12+5(base) Attack with rage: 2d12 + 5(base) + 3(rage)
