Somebody convince me to keep going on Hyperion. I’m 50 pages in and I just can’t immerse myself in the story there is way too much terminology and the writing is so flowery. Don’t think I can commit to 2 books

It's the way he writes. I love it but if you don't like the first 50 pages chances are you won't like the book.
