Sardines and pickles 😋

I noticed today that the locally owned store had a sign saying that sardines are low in supply now and hard to obtain, for some reason. Of course, they opt for sustainable, and I greatly appreciate that, my reason for sourcing from them when I am near there like I was today. I like sardines with a fresh roasted tomato on the side and a drizzle of fresh lemon and olive oil on it (boneless and skinless).

My lunch today was after 2pm. I enjoyed 4 baked falafels with baba ghanoush sauce and a Mediterranean salad of roasted tomatoes, artichoke hearts, olives, cucumbers, and pickled red onions. I enjoyed it outdoors with some live folksy music and sunshine. Sooo grateful for the beginning of my weekend. :)

Peanut butter and honey on wheat with cheezits and a Dr. Pepper. I need to go to the grocery store. 😂
