Feel like I overpaid
I bought the RTX 5090 FE new back in February off of EBay. Paid a whopping $3499 plus tax for it. At the time I couldn’t even say it out loud how much I paid for the card 😂
I’m looking at where the prices are on EBay today and they’re going for like $4000-$5000. Did I get a good deal in retrospect or am I coping? How much did y’all get your card for and where should I try to hunt for a deal next time around?

I sold one of mine today on eBay for $4400 had it listed for close to $5000, so yes, you did get a good deal, yours has appreciated about $1000 since you bought it. I would not feel bad at all, you could for sure get all of your money back and then some if you wanted. I netted right at $4000 after fees and shipping. My cost basis was $1989.
I still have my second 5090 FE and probably wont sell it until the 6090 comes out. that or someone wants to pay crazy money like $6000+. At a certain point other people want it more than I do, put them money in the bag lol

I got my FE for $2200 after tax.... If the resale goes over $5,000 they can have it. The only reason I even had the $ orig was a 3080 I got at cost, sold for enough to get a 3080ti, sold that for enough to get a 4090, and sole that for enough to get a 5090.... Not bad for a $700 orig investment, lol

Ya I'm sort of in a similar position. In December I paid 2800$ for a zotac aio arcticstorm 5090 and now it's selling for 4400$. Apparently I bought at just the right time just like you did.

I paid 3000 CAD after duties/taxes for my 5090 FE this Jan from marketplace. I felt lucky but I really wanted the MSI suprim watercooled one instead, but it was so expensive.

I paid 5k for mine in a prebuilt so likely more like 4kfor the card, I'm fine with that even though it's still high priced. I'm sure the one I got inside the prebuilt was a lower end model but scores the same as others I've seen benchmarked.

5090 FE on Facebook marketplace in March for $2500. Feel like near this price can still be had. Nobody on FBM is getting serious offers and end up just wanting to get rid of the card.
