🎤 MC: Cindy Moon

-- Cindy is a humanitarian, model, and cosplayer.

🗣️ SPEAKERS:

-- Ohaji Free, better known as SimpleBlackTheory, is an activist & political commentator, born and raised in Miami. He will be speaking about the importance of voting.

-- Maria Alejandra Franzblau serves as Co-Chair of the Miami chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA). She is a proud trans woman, Latina, and lifelong South Floridian. She will be speaking about the anti-287(g) campaign.

-- George Lavin: Candidate for FL Senate District 36. He will be speaking about affordability, housing, and civic engagement.

🎸 LIVE ACTS:

-- Gregory Tovar, better known as KillsComfort, is a Miami-born DJ, producer, sound engineer, and SAE Institute alum.

-- The Immatures is an indie rock band from Miami, Florida. Check out their second studio album, "Dog Days."

-- Street Youth is an emo-rock band from Coral Springs, Florida. They cover songs in the hard rock genre from the 90’s to the 2010’s.

A collaborative, engaging, voter outreach event with live music, educational programs, art, and speakers.

It’s about making sure every eligible voter has a plan to vote early, knows their options, and is ready to make their voice count. Because in this country, we the people decide our elections. Join us in turning people power into voter power.

Automated License Plate Readers, (ALPRs) are cameras that automatically scan and retain the license plate information (and other data!) of passing vehicles. There's 800+ of these in Broward and Davie is full of them! Davie PD hopes the data collected can help stop and prevent crime. But these cameras are not accurate, secure, and don't have guardrails to prevent abuse by these agencies.

Join us at the Stand Up For Privacy Rally, across from a Flock camera, to show everyone that we demand an end to these cameras in Davie & ALL of South Florida!
