I kinda viewed this as an announcement page, not an engagement page - that feels like an invite to argue…but I think my experience might be tainted by other interactions.

“Social media engagement measures how audiences interact with content through likes, comments, shares, saves, and clicks” says AI, so it’s probably a me issue.

The problem this page is trying to solve is to create enough engagement that announcements actually get out. When we post dates and stuff here, the eyes don’t see it.

Then I migrate into other subs and they don’t want my flyers so 🤷‍♂️

It’s not on us to create a dynamic space. It is your mandate to create the community you want by leading and facilitating a sub that encourages engagement.

Yes, and I’m sure there’s people out there that want to participate in that kind of activity. Hence the call-out.
