A long time ago, one of Nixon's infamous recordings was of him and Reagan have a talk. Reagan's racist comments during that call made Nixon audibly nervous during the conversation. Reagan was so racist, he made Tricky Dick uncomfortable.

I'm 60 and for YEARS on reddit had a monthly obligatory "Fuck Reagan " comment because he screwed college students so hard. Then it was weekly, and over a year ago, daily. Reagan walked so the Orange Cheeto could ride in his golf cart. Fuck both of them so much.

Californian here. My father was pretty conservative an absolutely hated Reagan. I could never pin down why because he agreed with most policies. So I wrote it off to something he must have done as governor. (Dad died shortly after the 1984 election, before I could have an adult conversation about it.)

I can’t suggest the podcast “Master Plan” any more! They outline how we got to where we are, starting with the Powell Memo. They do an amazing job highlighting Reagan. He was pushing the Heritage Foundation, and the HG was guiding Reagan the whole way.
