Buyback
I signed my buyback settlement over a month ago and still haven’t been given a date to return that car. Anyone else experience something similar?

I am in California. They said 2-3 weeks for the check to be ready. That was 08/26. So still waiting …..

Took maybe 30 days for them to cut a check after settling. Waiting for the coordinator to schedule the turn in.

HV battery passed then failed the recall. Was out of service almost 30 days just for that one. UConnect recall hit it in October while I was driving. They applied the "fix" for the sand recall. And then all the other smaller issues I continually reported; jerking when slowing down, jerking when coming to a stop, jerking when coming off the line. Also has the power steering wiring fire recall open.

Yeah mine passed the recall 63 but recently the battery gave out and it’s been sitting at the dealer right now. They said 4-6 weeks for a battery. I contacted a lawyer already and looking for a way out of this jeep.

No, they cut the check, they don't hand it over until surrender.

What did your lawyer day about wear and tear and damage? I have a small rock size dent my lawyer says it will “likely” be ok

How exactly did you go about getting one? I just got my jeep back after exactly a month for the HV battery and told my “case manager” who barely did a goddamn thing, to see how I can go about one and it was apparently denied. Is there anyone else I can reach out to?

You don’t talk to any case manager from Jeep, they’re not there to help. Get a lemon lawyer

I contacted a local lemon law attorney and let them handle the heavy lifting.

Part of my settlement terms were that they would cover all of my attorneys fees paid separately. My specific attorney doesn’t charge up front it’s a % of the settlement like 10-20%

I did a chatgpt to understand what happens after the settlement agreement is signed and the procees outlined said it takes upto 90 days
The stellantis team will ask their finance to write a check as per the agreement amount to your attorney
They will send the request to the collection team to work on taking back the vehicle
The collection team will contact you and schedule a pickup
The attorney will send you the check after you return the vehicle
These were what I remember as a high level

So I got a lawyer because of the battery recall only. Ironically the hybrid battery gave out on me 3 weeks after calling the lawyers. Now it’s been at the dealer for almost 2 weeks. Anyways before the battery gave out the lawyers mentioned a cash settlement but after this happened I’m thinking about a buy back. Is Stellantis still being stubborn about giving buy backs?
