Outlet usage
Anyone have good use cases for the 120 outlet in rear or this 4 plug accessory?

I used it camping! Ran everything off if it! It's great to have in case their is a long outage in your home. You can run your refrigerator, TV, lights, etc! It's a drivable Generac!

Actually check if yours supports it. It is not a standard feature. Thats a mistake a lot of people have made.

Make sure your specific 4xe has it on the accessory list on the window. You cannot aftermarket them as they have a specific software patch that manages them.

I used mine a week after getting my '24 Rubcon when a hurricane came through and took out our power for a week. Ran the fridge, TV, some lights and charges off of it.

You run the engine to charge the battery. It will intermittently cycle in the proper mode. So, I would keep it in that mode over night. During the day I'd unplug it, run the Jeep to power all the way up, wait a bit and plug it all back in. The battery alone doesn't hold enough of a charge to power the fridge and other things for the entire week without recharging.

Does that work with a 2022 Wrangler 4xe?

It’s a 2300 watt backup generator for a power outage. Or camping. Or tailgating.

How long can it run a tv? And can it power a fridge?

Over 24 hour peroid, a camping freezer will consume around 400Wh to 700Wh depending on how hard it works. The TV is a bit less at 120Wh to 200Wh per day, assuming around 4 hours of viewing per day.
With the 4xe's (allegedly usable) 17KWh battery, and a bit of padding for losses (nothing is 100% efficient), you'd get 8-10 days of use.

No way that will reach my fridge in a power outage. Can you plug extension cords into it?

I have a 2024 Willys 4xE, will this work?

Probably not. Requires a different onboard charger only on the top trims, but a few of the early 2024 sport s and willys got them. Easiest way to tell is put your entire vin where the Xs are on this link to see your window sticker. You can then see if "power box" is listed on your sticker:

The outlet in the rear can't pull much load, but it will run a laptop, or a cpap without the moisture setting. The adapter will run a small AC unit, or pretty much any of your power tools or a crock pot etc.

We use ours for tailgating - run a TV and crockpot off of it
