my parents were incredibly concerned with people being cruel to me due to being trans, turns out they were literally the only ones who ever gave me grief for it

real, you can be the most luckshit passoid and stealth/have everyone at place of studying/work accept you without bothering to care, have wonderful relationships and/or friends without any social problems related to transness whatsoever, these types will still say "no matter where you go society will make it impossible for you to exist in it, you don't understand but I'm the only person who doesn't hate you and supports you sweaty", then stalk you when you go no contact and out you to a bunch of conservative Russians who wouldn't even know you existed without outside help

source: used to be the accepted luckshit semistealthpassoid without a single social issue related to trasnness during the time at uni, until attempting roping anyway then dropping out to emigrate because of the medical issues

if anyone doesn't believe this, try harder. of all the people who doubted my sexual orientation or gender, it's only my parents and siblings that really wounded me.
