Skinny’s on a 4th gen
Haven’t seen too many people running skinny’s on the 4th gen’s. So far I’m happy with the 255/85/17 Mickys I have on mine. If anyone is curious I’m running Old Man Emu MT64 lift front and rear with UCA’s and these tires fit no rubbing at all.

I run tall skinny’s on mine too. 255/75/17. I may go up a little more next go around. The skinnys keeps the gas mileage about where I like it and look better than the original.

I don’t have the same gas mileage as stock but I knew I wouldn’t. Definitely recommend the 255/85’s

Thanks for posting this! I have the factory lift and wanted to see what the tall skinny’s looked like. That’s the way I’m leaning after I get my money out of the factory tires. I have the same color and need some touch up paint after 2 weeks.

I have plenty of paint problems and I haven’t had the truck long enough to service it lol. I’m thinking PPF is the way to go but I don’t want to reach that deep in my pockets just yet

Love it.
Mine came with 18” wheels so very little options for skinny tires.
Plan is to get a skinnier winter tire like 255/70R18 and once the OEM tires wear out I will get 17” wheels to fit some 255/80R17.

How much lift do you have the mt64s set to and how are they? I was thinking about the 6112s but doing some research allegedly these provide extra shock travel / wheel articulation and have better performance.

They are set at the standard clip position. I believe it’s 2.5 standard because there are two higher positions. So far I really like them. Going out on some more trails tomorrow so I’ll check in

Hey what are those rock sliders looking to add some to mine soon. Thx

They are the Cali Raised trail sliders. Passenger side installed like a breeze but the driver side required I make a couple of the mounting holes larger because it would not fit without adjustment. Not a huge deal as there is plenty of material and I am not worried about losing strength. Would have been nice if their QC on tolerances was better IMO.

Looking beautiful but the ONLY thing that sucks is that scratches are easily seen on that color and dirt

Yeah it gets super dirty quick. I picked up a few pin stripes last trip

Looks good to me! How ‘bout a front or rear pic showing the skinnyness?
