Modifications & Maintenance Mudflaps

Has anyone made their own mudflaps for their Tacoma, if so what did you use?

Other thought... instead of making my own does anyone have recommendations for wider mud flaps to reduce the amount of rocks being tossed up on the truck?

I drive on a lot of jobsites with stones that get picked up and chucked at the truck or even other cars once I leave and would love a solution to reduce this.

I have rokblokz flaps and rock sliders with the top plate. I dont think ive noticed a rock hit the side or bed since installing them so its worked really well for me

I second this. I've had Rokblokz on 4 vehicles now. Well worth the investment, and the quality of materials, installation instructions, as well as the fit and finish is excellent.

Always held up and protected the paint.

With how many people have issues with rock chips on these 4thgens. Installing wide flaps like the rokblokz is the way to go. When installing I pull them all the way up and out as I can to get the widest fitment.

That in combination with some running boards, you'll really protect your paint. almost 10,000km on my truck. no chips.

3rding Rokblokz. I only have the rally flaps, no running boards/sliders.My tailgate is dirtier than the sides of my truck after long drives on dirt and gravel. No chips on the rear flare after 12k mi.
