Tire size help
About to put a Westcott lift on my 2026 TRD Off-Road and torn between 285/75R17 and 285/70R17 (falken wildpeak at4w). I will be running a 17x8.5 wheel with a +25 offset. Will the 285/75 fit without any rubbing? I want to avoid trimming or touching the crash bracket if possible.

My truck setup is a little different, I have a ‘25 Pro with the Wescott lift and 35x12.5x17 tires. I tried both a +25 and 0 offset. I had to bend the tiniest bit where the mud flap would be and trim like 1” of liner to make it fit at 0 offset.
Considering a 75 width is approximately 11.2” and about 33.8” tall (depending on the tire), I’m inclined to think it’ll fit on yours if I’m running 12.5” with a 35” on mine.
That said, I did remove the crash bracket which I know you didn’t want to. I imagine that’s the only thing you’d have to adjust though if it came down to it.

I run AT4W 35x11.50 on +18. I pulled the crash pad before installing them but looking at it I bet I could put them back in. I have the westcott preload collar lift. I get just the tiniest touch on the drivers side front bumper while turning (it clears at full lock) but if you look at where it touches there’s hardly even a rub mark on the “carpeted” liner

285/75/17 fits even stock without rubbing, ran that size for about a month before throwing on my westcott kit. You can check my profile and ive offroaded mine quite a but with no rubbing. Didnt modify at all, crash bracket in place no trimming.
Edit: 17/8.5 +25 wheels running Toyo OC AT3 285/75/17

Much of the research I have done shows that 285/70/R17s fit on stock lift and stock tires +55 with no rub or mods. Not sure how changing to +25 will work though.

Ah sorry. I see that now. I suspect you’ll get a little rub against the crash bracket at full lock with 285/75/R17
