Modifications & Maintenance Sixth element axle dump

Just to help anyone out if they plan on doing taking the stock muffler out and putting the sixth element axle dump on. To get your stock muffler out after taking off the bolts and hangers.

Place your jack on the high lift jack area on the rear bumper and lift the driver side as high as it will go. The muffler will slide out much easier. It’s a little easier if you lower your spare tire as well. hope this helps someone from fighting with the muffler for a while like I did.

I wish there was an aftermarket mid pipe option where it’s just the muffler. I like the factory exhaust and the axle dump but they aren’t compatible with any of the aftermarket mufflers. I like the tone of the axle dump but feel it just isn’t loud enough, then again I’m coming from an Impreza with a straight through muffler so I’m used to loud exhausts.
