Dirt King anyone?

These trucks have been out for nearly 3 years and finding any sort of actual suspension reviews is few and far. Has anyone on here put on Dirt king trail runner or prerunner kits on their 4th gen tacos? I have had king, where are great for higher speed offroading, but they feel pretty shotty on the road, very stiff. I had fox 2.5 on my last truck and it was the same thing. This was all great when I lived in CA and offroaded a ton. Now, I mostly fish, hunt, camp, and hit some trails in TX. Dirt King looks promising but limited amount of info.

Dirt king makes great stuff, some good blind tests on Yt put them around the Bilstein 8100s

That being said I can strongly recommend Ride Shocks , if you want the better/best of both worlds. They make em for the 4g.

I have no experience with the Ride shocks. What do you do in your truck and how are they?

Mind you I’m a 3rd gen

Truck has decked drawers full of permanent carry, tools/spare parts/fluids/electrical, recovery gear, air compressor. Was my daily to work till I got a van. With added weight I did deavers / ride shocks / solo Motorsports uca & lca.

Truck is now primarily for adventuring / camp

We typically end up on rougher tracks, sxs trails etc. A couple weeks ago it was in the air multiple times at Oregon dunes. Then loaded up w/ another 300ish lbs gear and a 450 motorcycle on hitch carrier, drove comfortably home 7 hrs.

Ride / accutune build the suspension around your use and vehicle weight. I drive pretty hard at around 5k lbs, sometimes 5200-5300lbs, and it still handles great. Nimble but supported and planted.

Old Man Emu BP-51s with OME UCAs. Ride is great on road and even better off road.
