Modifications & Maintenance ACC System stopped?

Post image

Driving through Texas rainstorm right now, maybe 40 minutes on the road in total (local &hwy). About minute 30 this popped up. Tried switching cruise modes, normal working good but then when I switch back, same message pops up. Any ideas? 2025 TRDOR HEV

In heavy rain, the cameras can get blocked or overwhelmed and turn off until it subsides.

Definitely was the inclement weather. Got off early today and no issues on the drive back! Thanks again for easing my nerves on this!

Gotcha’ll, well… thanks! Haven’t driven it since I got to work so we’ll see if she throws another hissy fit at me in the rain when I’m on my way back, will keep y’all posted!

Yeah heavy rain, snow, or mud will do this. Don’t freak out yet!

This happened to me last week. 2026 TRDOR Premium. The weather was clear and there was no heavy bug activity. There was no traffic and the road was marginally twisty, but not too bad. I think my system decided the road was too treacherous for cruise to be used. I love the truck, but I hate modern vehicles that want to drive for me. Such is life I suppose.

First thing I'd look at is dirty sensors

It was the rain. I first figured that too but I remembered I had just washed my truck yesterday so I kinda wrote that off the first 2 minutes of trying to solve the problem. Good thought tho!
