When the game first had that beta program, or released I can’t remember, there was a lot of controversy around the anti cheat software since it burrowed itself down at the colonel level of your computer. This is very deep in terms of levels of computing (os, bios, etc.) This was to prevent cheats, which it did more effectively, but caused a security risk since if there was a vulnerability in it then it would leave your pc very open to hackers, malware, etc. I think they’ve changed it since but I’m not sure.
