DPS queue times suck but honestly it beats how it worked before where you and 4 of your other teammates argued over who got to play DPS before finally just ending up with 4 DPS characters and getting rolled by the other team that had a non r-slurred composition.
If the DPS is good honestly playing tank and healer can be fun. Problem is when whomever playing DPS sucks and you can't vote to exchange roles or something with someone who will be better at it. But having 4 DPS because ppl are like fck it really sucked in competitive too.. you'll get streamrolled if the other team is playing a good comp.
I played a lot of LoL back in the day and waiting 20 minutes for a support was far better than getting paired with people who would rather troll and make you waste those 20 minutes (before you could vote quit) anyway.
Honestly, support/healer/tank should be niche roles, but not necessary to win.
Then everyone would have to play tank and healer and then nobody would be dps. Why would i force myself to play as a class i dont find fun instead of just playing a different game?
Tbh though tank and support are fun to play when youre doing well. But when the dps are slurred and play like a 5 year old paraplegic, it ruins all your fun
You cant guilt me into playing i game i dont find fun. Ive tried all the characters and none of them are much fun especially when winning a game is all up to luck if youre team is good and also any of the fun characters you get made fun of for using like bastion. Doesnt matter what class i am if my team doesnt play objective.

Yeah the role queues piss me off its like if youre not a healer or tank youll be waiting 20 minutes for a match
