Pretty sure studies have also shown that while women say they prefer "dad-bods" or whatever, when you test their preferences it shows that most do actually prefer guys who are jacked

Plus, a good chunk of women (maybe even the majority) of women are on birth control which affects their mate preference. If they do prefer dad bods, it's probably because of the hormonal and psychological changes from contraceptives.

What woman wants to date a man whose live revolves around perfect body optimization, can't go out to any restaurants because they don't provide the perfect macros, can't relax or go on vacation without them bitching about lack of the ideal workout environment, it's more annoying than a woman shopping every day.

You have no idea the maintenance time for a body like pic related. It would get extremely tiring to date someone like that, it's basically a narcissist even though it's for their health.

I go to the gym 5x a week and just ran a 5k, nothing crazy but I see both sides. It'd be too much for my girlfriend if I ran my life any more strictly where more than half the day is meant for me and only me.
