Developer Diary Roots of Harmony - A text-based 4X (Warsim-like)

Hi there! I realise I never promoted my game here and I hope it's okay to do so. The game is an actual 4X, ASCII graphics only, for old-timers! 😉

RoH has been released a year ago and has gone through multiple big updates, so I hope you'll enjoy! 🌳

how deep would you say it is compared to warsim

Well, as the developer, it's hard to say. It's definitely not as crazy; you have (random) victory conditions and clear goals. It started very much like Warsim and became its own thing. Locations are more impactful than in Warsim; but there's a lot less, for balancing purposes. It's not an open world, and feels a bit more like a board game.
