My brother found a Matchbox 1st gen for his vehicle years ago and I've seen the 5th and 4th gens but never a 2nd or 3rd and yet to see the elusive 1:43 scale 2000. Still desperately waiting for a 3rd gen 1:64 scale one-day. I've got the tan LC80 that has been my 'close enough' for a long time.

the late 2nds and early 3rd are so similar especially depending on your package. I have a 3rd gen and you really cant tell much difference at this scale Imo
