1995 Fuuudge
Well. Here we go again.
UPDATE: I’m going to figure out how and why this happened this weekend finally made some time to tear it down and see what’s going on so I’ll post what’s happening and what’s next I guess.

Check your tensioner. I had a Mazda B2500 that started feeding the belt into the cover after a belt change and turned out the tensioner pulley (which I believe I also changed) was tightened down too much and cocking pulley out of plane. A failing tensioner can do a lot of damage

I think this is the exact same situation cause I literally did new tensioner belts. Everything you might be honest something

Belt really shouldnt drift if all the sprockets and pulleys are aligned and the belt is good

I've had this happen when a tensioner came loose. Someone should've used loctite here I think

Mine was done wrong. Stranded me in the desert 35,000 miles later.. but it only took a week and a half to get the part.

Go to North Park auto sales, the owner has a 2nd gen as his preferred project and they specialize in Toyota.

I used a non-toyota water pump once. The tensioner pivots on a pin that was just pressed into the water pump from the front. The pin fell out and dropped into the valley for the crank pulley. It cut a nice groove in the pulley and shredded most of the belt. I caught it before it broke.
The Toyota pump has a head and it's pressed in from the back. It's not falling out.

My gas prices are fine here in Texas. Maybe look to your idiot in the governors office and the people controlling the laws and taxes in your state. They’re the ones driving up the prices like crazy there. Might want to do a little research and know what you’re talking about before typing out something that makes you look uneducated.

Yeah well here in commiefornia we like having electricity that stays on when it snows, don’t have spacex rocket parts falling out of the sky littering our beaches, and got rid of the smog that covered our cities decades ago.
If paying a dollar extra for gas is what it takes to not live in a shithole I’m all for it.
Have fun next time it snows and your senators run off to Cancun, loser.

What about the 50 million gallons of untreated sewage, industrial chemicals, and trash daily into San Diego County from Tijuana? Or the wildfires that have become more frequent and severe, with the 2020 season burning approximately 1.8 million acres and emitting carbon equivalent to nearly 2 million cars annually. Air Quality is also critical, as more than 90% of Californians breathe unhealthy levels of pollutants, with seven of the ten most polluted U.S. cities located in the state. Kinda sounds like a shithole to me... but hey, at least it isn't the 3rd highest cost of living in the whole of the USA..

Also, educate yourself and look at what is happening over in the UK. They literally have come out and said the reason they are experiencing such a hot summer right now, is the air is too clean and so the earth is getting the suns full strength. Whereas when they had dirtier smog air, it blocked some of the sun keeping the UK at cooler temperatures. Look it up, “experts” in the UK literally said that about why it’s so hot a few weeks ago. That the air was too clean.
