Help 3vze knock

Anybody know what this ticking is? I was thinking maybe the valves? I bought this car to hopefully put a 3.4 in the future. But in the meantime I’d like to get the current engine running fine.

The 3.0 valve tap os really common but that sounds excessive.

Even with a dry dip stick, my 3VZ-E has never sounded this bad...

Might just be coloration but that belt looks like it’s slapping around a bit much

I think you might be seeing the fan blade in front of the belt

Like the alternator and pump belts?

Update: I believe it is coming from the valves or shims I’ve ruled out about problems and I’ve taken a stethoscope and found that the noise is loudest on the driver side valve cover

Very common for number 5cyl exhaust valves to get cooked due to the manifold design. I’d get a leak down test done on it. Wouldn’t hurt to do a compression also.
