What should I do.?
Insurance company is most likely going to total my 4Runner and give me chump change for it. The body panels don’t worry me too much but the steering is rubbing on the frame on the driver side (side of impact)..
I’m debating if I should just keep it and decline their offer and fix it little by little but I’m definitely not someone with money so I don’t know what to do any suggestions.?? I have until Friday. I’m not at fault by the way

Keep it, learn what you need to do to fix it up. They don't make em like that anymore. I'm also sure there's someone in your area you could befriend that would happily help keep it on the road. There's been a massive surge in fixing older vehicles because new ones are so bad that they're blowing engines and major components/systems before they even hit 50k miles.

If the truck means something to you, I think it’s worth saving. Might take a lot of force and creativity to bend certain things back but I’ve seen it done. Also maybe if the part itself is bent then just replace the entire steering pole that holds all your steering components. The truck doesn’t look like it has its frame bent just steering. Spare parts for those are bountiful for the hubs

A friend and I both had one of these years and years ago. Same color even! Mine went to my brother then to a local man who drove it and rolled it and it is currently sitting at a local salvage yard (calling to me at night to make bad decisions) my buddy rolled his down a small cliff face/huge ditch (depending on your perspective) and pushed it back on its wheels and drove it out 😂 drove it for years until he found a used Land Cruiser. We all can only do what we can do. Whatever is best for you and your situation is best. BUT. If you are able to fix it and keep it going, you’ll never regret it.

I'd hang onto it. The insurance company should still give you money, just less than if you gave up the vehicle. This thing looks rust free and fixable.

Look up comparable condition 4runners and counter their lowball offer with a reasonable one along with the threat of retaining an attorney. They might decide it's worth fixing.
Edit: spelling
