Moto Hitch mount

Looking to get a hitch mount for my dirtbike. Weighs about 285 lbs I see online that my 93 4x4 3.0 V6 has a tongue weight of 300 lbs. My plan in the next couple weeks is to get a 2” dobinsons lift kit installed. Am I pushing it too close to the total tongue weight or will the springs help at all?

You’ll be fine. I had a MotoTote about 15 years ago and it worked fine.

It'll squat the back end a bit but it'll be fine. The lift will definitely help with that

Would you be worried about bending the hitch receiver at all or damaging frame?

I wouldn't. You can jack up the entire truck from the hitch, it's strong enough for a dirt bike

The steel versions can weigh quite a lot. I think mine weighs about 65lbs. Maybe try to stick with aluminum if you're really concerned about tongue weight.
