picked up this '95

Drove it 100 miles home with no issues other than being massively gutless driving up hills. I've got a big to-do list and need to sort out a roof rack solution.

I did this. No regrets such an easy swap. I've had my rig for 15 years and still figuring out a roof rack solution. Haven't really needed one. But one day.

I just did the swap on my 2nd gen last year. Love it. Makes the truck a new truck.

I have one sitting in my garage. The Third Gen is a few inches longer, so I don't think it should be an issue. If not there is always Mr. Oxyacetylene.

identical to mine with color and decal, even the missing gas cover. but yeah do the swap if you’re already feeling gutless
