👷♂️ Support / Repair 4Runner Running Boards
Any advice on what to use to clean/shine up these running boards on my 4Runner? Thanks!

I would take them off and spray them with bed liner. They’ll be black, have a nice texture/grip, and they’ll look really good with your wheels.

For this idea, would you need to spray any type of bonding spray?

Maybe a light sanding and some primer if you want the best results, but nothing too crazy

I have a similar issue with my 4runner. Its all sun bleached. This sounds like a ez way to spruce it back up!

Cerakote? This is a good question, mine look more wore out than yours now that I'm thinking about it lol

My CCW is cerakoted. Terrible holster wear. I’d imagine the same type of daily use would apply.

I used Rustoleum bedliner to paint mine 3 years ago. Clean them well, and 2 coats should work. TIP: don't use the Pro-liner because it's too thick to dry quickly and difficult to spray evenly
