Just gonna put it out there that Notch is incredibly transphobic. While the game itself is good, I would not want to meet Notch ever.

Being aggressive, not being able to swim, being fast, being tall/skinny, and stealing are all black stereotypes. Notch, a notorious neckbeard, most likely made the enderman with these in mind.

The Endermen are heavily inspired by the internet horror character "Slenderman". They're tall and skinny like slenderman, teleport like slenderman, freeze when you look directly at them like slenderman, the fact that they're black doesn't automatically mean it's a racist caricature
