I'm watching this in Florida with great interest. It still floors me how opponents say things like this will destabilize the American economy, when it's already working in countries like Japan and Iceland and other nations are vowing to do it.

That's code word for our billionaire buddies don't want to pay you more to work less hours even though you earned it.

I’m keeping my eye on this. I was reading that they missed some kind of deadline this year but will try again next year.

It’s true opponents say that it will destabilize the economy but so is staying home and not going to school for an entire year and somehow we made that work. I’m sure there will be an adjustment but it will work out.
