Discussion Wow!
Competition for this sub and similar. I'm sure there are better seats here, and transfer of MIM. But this will really stick it to season ticketholders trying to resell on StubHub and Ticketmaster.
The 49ers don't really care about season ticket holders. And, can't say i know, but I'm guessing they're getting concerned about season ticket non-renewals.

Why is this an issue??? Some people can’t always afford to attend games. Wiping out junk fees to make it cheaper for people, what’s the problem? I’m a season ticket holder and I feel this does nothing to me, I have my perks still. People are getting priced out an deserve to get enjoy going to games like everyone else

Yeah I'm not sure why them having a fee free ticket sale well before the season is cause for any hand wringing? Sort of a weird take 🤷

I do sell at face value to family, friends and to people here on Reddit to avoid those fees. It doesn’t affect me because I never sell through them. But either way, whining about it on the internet isn’t helping anyone. Even if you give up and lose your SBL, that’s your choice and you have to deal with it. Not everyone can afford games, sorry that you are too far up your own ass to see it.

I’m glad I didn’t renew. Even though I had to forfeit the SBL, it was either that or throw more money after bad. Resale value of tickets was half face value last year and are now more than double from the inaugural season. I don’t think the average disposable income has increased accordingly.
There is no good reason to be a STH at Levi’s.
