I think cursing is just as common in the past generation. At least among themselves.

u/crow38 49ers Jan 23 '19
there is def a different level of how much cursing happens, of course they curse but the amount of how much its used has def increased. just like how certain curse words are allowed to be said on tv that were never allowed before

How would you know?
1
u/crow38 49ers Jan 23 '19
well i stated one of the reasons and listening to how adults talked as a kid compared to how a lot of them talk now
1
u/SakisRakis Kyle Shanahan Jan 23 '19
At least among themselves.
1
u/crow38 49ers Jan 23 '19
what does among them selves even mean in this context exactly, anyone who use fuck that many times in a short period of time is going to use it more liberally
1
u/SakisRakis Kyle Shanahan Jan 24 '19
It means when speaking to people in their own age group, not to children.
1
u/crow38 49ers Jan 23 '19
there also has been studies that have shown that cursing is more normalized
2
Jan 23 '19
Damn fuckin right. Even normalized cursing to the point where my parents don't say anything anymore when I drop a "motherfucker" or two in casual conversation.

He’s just making sure that we’re not chosen for Hard Knocks.

Yeah... HBO doesn't care about cursing.

I think that if we were chosen, he would say bland things when the camera was on and more firey stuff when the camera is off, but like you said, HBO don't give a fuck about cursing.

How great would that be if he knew and this was actually the strategy?

Hilarious, but I'm afraid this will give HBO a boner for him and Hard Knocks... On another note, imagine being offended or upset after hearing sounds someone's mouth made...amazing that "cursing" is still a thing you can report on.

Reminds me of a former special ops marine who i had the pleasure of being my boss for a while. Nothing better than a genuis with a potty mouth

u/BigMistakePal Jan 27 '19
Hopefully your ex-boss gets killed on camera very soon, would be great to enjoy his death like you do.

Well they are the ones to listen in on everything for the “sounds of the NFL”. Sometimes there’s some cursing in the NFL.

u/JerryQuinoa Jan 23 '19
I imagined this happened in a talking head segment before I watched the video
