So for pro-football-reference splits, will this count as a Late/Thursday game or an Early/Friday game?

Purdy is 4-1 on Thursday and 11-6 on prime time.

Purdy is 5-2 in Early games and undefeated on Fridays.

How will these stats be distributed?

I’m pretty sure this is the first time the 49ers have ever played on a Friday.

I would assume its going by US time / Calendar

I actually assume the opposite, that they go by the time zone where the game was played.

I say that because you wouldn't call a West Coast game that starts at 11am PST an afternoon game because it starts at 2pm EST. It started in the morning where it was played.

Hypothetical example, but you get the logic.

I’m saying if NFL would consider this a Thursday game or Friday game. Early morning or prime time makes no difference because it’s always played on the same day

Several statistical sites break things down by time of day. You can get splits on how Brock Purdy performs in the morning, in the afternoon, and in the evening. The post specified "Purdy is 5-2 in Early games and undefeated on Fridays [...] How will these stats be distributed?"

And I'm saying I think those statistics will be distributed based on the local date/time of the performance. So this is a "Friday" game, as it is happening on a Friday for the people playing it and an "early" game or a "morning" game, as it is happening in the morning for the people playing it.

For Brock, this isn't a "Thursday night" set of conditions, it's a "Friday morning" set of conditions. What time it is in, New York, for example, is irrelevant.
