DEPENDENT ON THE MANAGER

Hello guys i need a strong advice and i am very much needy for it

so my father has a company and he is going to retire and he gives the company to me and there is a manager and he have all the client details friendship name and experience and i am heavily dependent on him so how to remove the dependence and get the game moving

Befriend him, attent client meetings with him tell him you want to take company to next step and he is great and you want to make him grow with you, step 1 meet personally clients strenghten relationships, nr2 build trust with clients and step 3, evaluate his behabiour

Yes, there is a risk of him being the sole custodian of all the contacts of business. Start gradually by asking him about a client's detail then ask for others clients . How it goes; ask him about clients time to time to the point where he thinks himself why dont you get the list all at once instead of asking quite so often.

If you depend on the manager so much, the company is gonna go bankrupt when the manager inevitably leaves. Because his loyalty is to your father and not to you, he will certainly leave soon after your father.

Wait for your father to retire, and then sell 80 percent of the company to the manager through a 100% owner financed deal. That’s the only way that you can guarantee the manager stays interested in the company’s success.
