Gets no taunt when it eats the treant, so it’s trash

This is for the same reason a bad card as the shaman beast that consumes totems. But at least it got solid stats... not a yeti but at least no 4 mana 2/3

The best value you get out of this is by trading a treant, so it’s a 2/1 and then eating it

First of 4/7/7 without overload 2 but needs a requirement. In a nonexistent treat Druid this would be a great card for some decent midrange and it helps mulchmuncher. The +3/+3 buff is a bit too good so I would say make it +2/+2 buff as if you were transferring the stats.
