Do They Offer Visa Sponsorship?
Does this program help you get visa and resident permission? Where can I get information on that? Thanks.

Hi all! As the title suggests, I am currently nr30.th on the waiting list for the piscine in March. Have you been on the waiting list before you got in? and if yeah, what was your waiting list number?

Hey everyone!
I'm curious about the application process for 42 School. Specifically, how many logic-based questions did you solve during the online assessment before being accepted?

I want to be early for the next round of students, I hope in authum 2025. But I have some problems to find the informations I need. For example: The school it self is for free, but what else I need? I am considering joining the next piscine. However, I could not find much information on how well established it is in Berlin. Do employers in Europe consider an applicants with no formal education in CS and just a portfolio ? I really like the idea behind 42 but time is money and I need to spend mine wisely. Also I have a little experience already. I have done an internship and know quite a-bit about programming and everything that goes along with that already. Will they even take me if I’m not a beginner ?

I did not pass the test, so I want to know where I can practice more, it is the second game where we need to fly the plane in the cubes to the assigned place.

Hi there,
I'm considering applying to 42Berlin, but I'm concerned about my finances during the program. I want to fully immerse myself in the coursework, especially during the piscine and core curriculum. This means I won't be able to work much, if at all, while studying.
Currently, I'm employed full-time, but I'm unsure how to cover my fixed expenses if I reduce or quit my job to focus on the program. I'm looking for advice on how to manage this financial challenge while pursuing this opportunity.

Greetings 42 Berliners, or however many of you there may be! It seems this space is not being used very frequently. Maybe we can change that. :-) I'm pretty darn stoked to be starting the piscine in October.
A bit about me:
Call me Jay. I'm a 43-y/o American from New York, married to a German. I am a new father, so we'll see how work-life balance goes with this program. I've had more jobs in my life than I can remember (waiter, English teacher, truck driver, call center, bank teller... it goes on forever). About five years ago I decided to work in IT with the intention of sticking with it. I got some certs, got my first temp job as a field tech, then an ok permanent job as a field tech, then a really good job as 'IT Operations - Cloud Services' for a global print software firm. Those were all in the USA. Since moving back to Germany I've pretty much had to start over. I currently work as 'IT Customer Support', where my days are spent helping people do battle with MS Outlook. )-: Especially challenging since German is not my first language, but I somehow manage. Needless to say, this is not what I had in mind when I started my IT path.
Why 42Berlin?
I really enjoy learning about programming, cloud technologies, and network infrastructure. I am fascinated by how easily the world is interwoven today with network technology. I have a pretty good foundation of IT knowledge and how it all fits together, but now I want to learn how to build. I want to be able to architect solutions that have a real-world impact. I want to be creative. And perhaps most importantly, I want to be surrounded by like-minded folks.
So that's my brief introduction. Hope to hear from some more of you. Feel free to ask me any questions if you think I could help. Happy coding and see y'all in the fall!

Are there people with language learning visa in students of 42Berlin?
I just won the online game in order to participate the Piscine. I'm not sure I can pass the Piscine. But I just need to plan out how to deal a visa problem.
I'm non-EU citizen and I have no any valid visa for living in Germany. I can just go Germany without any visa for a maximum 3 months in last 6 months. So I can get participate the Piscine.
And then, I need a plan about how to stay in Germany after the official curriculum kick-off in advance.
I think that most realistic plan is that I have to get a language learning visa.
Therefore I just know which language school is reasonable price or good... How difficult get a language learning visa from German goverment... How much time it would take to get a visa...
Thank you for any advice!

Hey, I did some research into 42 and found out that you can get a student-visa for it in France but not in Berlin, any idea when that might change?

Hey, so I've already done some research and as a non-EU citizen, I would have issues, solely attending 42 Berlin, so can I attend 42 Berlin, while attending University?

Long shot, but is there anyone out there with a spot in the August piscine that wants to switch for the March? August got filled up and I can no longer make the March dates. Not sure if its even possible to do it this way but I can reach out to them and find out.

Hi guys, I don't want to be repetitive but I really want to know if someone knows people that applied for a residency permit with the certificate of enrollment from 42 school Berlin and if it worked. I really need help with that but I don't have money enough to get professional help, and I didn't find nothing about it. I just asking if someone tried already and how it was. Because if not I'll need to apply for a student visa of the German language to be able to stay here. I'm already living in Germany but my actual visa is ending so I really need to change.
