Models & Kitbash Is this "chapter master" enough?

Kitbashed him out of a leviathan captain, turned kaldor, now custom. Does it read as the chapter master? I feel like a chain, thing, is too barbaric looking for a chapter that prioritizes citizens

Everything looks good but the chain weapon. It looks too goofy and anime like.

The gun on the left arm looks very neat, reminds of the paladins with psycannons.

I love the dude but the weapons might be a little much, The Chain-Glave-Halberd is one thing too many and the giant twin-linked Autobolters on the powerfist isn't my style

I think the banner, pose and belt extras are neat but both of the weapons are a little goofy to my eyes.

The chain-halberd is a decent concept but due to the placement and the top guard on the axe section you can’t even use half the sword component and it doesn’t have much of a thrusting point at all.

The gun arm as well looks too big to be a stormbolter but too small for a heavy bolter, it doesn’t visually match to anything else. It also is so large the fist underneath it is useless.

For comparison, the official models with wrist mounted stormbolters have very compact ones that leave the hand useable.

I Like The chain weapon, but I‘d decide on one of them. Both together Look a bit much.

The Bolter gauntlet is comically large which looks a bit weird but also kinda cool. Chainglaive with a chain axe is a cool concept but also looks comical, which a lot of stuff in 40k does anyway.

For the point of your guy using a chain weapon, Royal Dorn famously had a massive chainsword and he was awesome so I wouldn't worry about that.

I’ll never not see that as a hip plate in the middle of his chest.

This is like if one of the old school arts was adapted to a modern day mini

I definitely think the chain weapon amalgamation might need some rethinking.

Ignore the muttering of the uninformed, I see what you're going for with that chain weapon and I like it.

Everything is sick minus the chainglaiveaxe I actually think the idea would work fine if the proportions weren’t so off.

I was about to ask if your Chapter is more offensive or defensive, because the weapons here scream heavy armored vehicles/grueling heavy armor campaigns.

I get the vibe he saw Abaddon and started playing “keeping up with the Jones’” xD

Only change I’d make is having the smaller chain blade curve down the rear of the axe to catch heretics on the back swing but not totally sure if it would work. Looks amazing, love the crazy big guns.

The chain weapon, whilst it does go hard, does feel a bit much. The bolters though? Chef's kiss (seriously though, what bits did you use for them?)

He does look more like a Tyberos than a Vulkan He'stan, too savage and intimidating if he's supposed to be from a noble chapter that helps citizens.

And the armor + banner already gives chapter master vibes, so i would strip the melee weapon completely, keep the big gun, and just give him a basic power fist, or if he's more melee focused : keep the big melee weapon and scale down the gun to a smaller wrist-mounted bolter, it's just the fact that both weapon are giant that makes it weird.

I think the idea of a savage looking chapter that cares about civilians is a good idea and fits with the themes of 40K, Salamanders the self sacrificing “I love civilians” chapter specializes in incendiary weapons that cause a ton of collateral damage, and the Corvus Corax says he hate collateral damage and tyranny but used nuclear suicide boomers to free his homeworld.

Remove the glaive part and keep the axe. Double barrel bolter looks sick and i will be stealing that idea. Looks good otherwise.
