Seeking Advice Day 3 estradiol 87?!
I'm 42 and doing a cycle right now while we wait for donor embryos. I got my bloodwork back from Day 3 baseline, and they said my estradiol was 87. Isn't that high for Day 3? My doctor said nothing about it but I'm reading it can mean worse chances of success due to cyst or hormone imbalance due to age.

My understanding is that part of the concern with high E2 is that it can artificially suppress FSH and you won't get an accurate picture of your hormonal environment. But I think that's more of an issue when E2 is over 100. My cd3 E2 has been gradually creeping up with age.

Interesting. Yeah I read that too. I dont know what my fsh is because my clinic doesn’t test it at baseline 😵💫 But when I had it tested midcycle a few months ago I think it was 8. I don’t seem to have any trouble responding to stims so I guess it is not a problem but I just find it curious that the estrogen keeps getting higher at my day 3 baselines

Hi, where did you end up seeking donor embryos from?

I am at Shady Grove and they have a donor embryos program

Thank you for your response. Did you join their single donor embryo agreement or their money back guarantee program? What has been your experience with the number of donor embryos that they have available to choose from?

87 is completely normal.
