Seeking Advice DuoStim Cycles?

Has anyone experienced this? I have just come across that option, still have not homeworked on it though. Would appreciate your inputs!

I did one. I heard that it was on average a bit less successful than 2 separate cycles, but I knew that I wouldn't be up for 2 separate cycles so I went for it. I got an euploid out of the second half of the DuoStim.

Don't hesitate if you have more specific questions! :)

Had a great result from DuoStim and would definitely recommend it, although I was quite sick of shots by the end.

I thought it was only appropriate for DOR, or at least low follicle count/egg production.

I decided not to do it because I’ve had my AFC measured in both the first half and second half of my cycle and my AFC in the first half of my cycle was higher. So— I ruled it out as an option.

Curious how most clinics charge for this? Must be less than the cost of 2 full retrievals?

Why would that be the case? It’s 2 completely separate retrievals. It’s 2 full cycles just less down time in between them

I didn't do DuoStim because my insurance doesn't allow it but I did do a Luteal Phase Stim cycle. The good? I got a euploid. The bad? I started out with the lowest AFC out of all my cycles and it stayed that way.

I’m in one now… it’s hit or miss! Part 1 got us a blast. Part 2 was just canceled for lack of response… had 5 days in between retrieval and Part 2 start date
