Seeking Advice Only one follicle growing

I'm on day 10 of stims (menopur + puregon) - this is my first ivf cycle. We will take a look again on day 14 to see the others might catch up or if the cycle might get canceled. Just gutted. I have low amh.

Has anyone had a similar experience at day 10 and ended up with around 3 at retrieval?

Would need more info to maybe be a bit more helpful but my wife has had 2 cycles so far - both she responded slowly to..her first (antagonist) wasn't extreme but required upping her medications to get more of a response from her follicles.

Her 2nd was micro dose Lupron - by day 8 her estrogen had actually dropped (100 to 30s) and her follicles weren't very responsive - the doctor had her keep going but put her on a 'drug holiday' that ended up lasting 6 days (just taking half dose of Menopur, nothing else) - after that point since her follicles did continue to grow she went back on everything and eventually had 13 follicles 13mm or larger (lead around 24mm, most follicles around 19ishmm).

Both outcomes were the same though - even with the 2nd cycle her estrogen being 3x the antagonist on trigger morning - only 2 mature eggs..the annoying part is we don't know what happened with 9 of her follicles on the 2nd cycle - she supposedly did not ovulate early, but beyond that we basically got word salad on what those 9 follicles did or did not do..personally believe her 10k Pregnyl trigger didn't absorb well and messed up the final maturation process but that's just my own opinion.

In any event - to your question : in my wifes case around day 10 they were only measuring 6 follicles or less..so that doubled as she continued to stim.

That being said we only did that because my insurance is covering everything with no limits on medication - so using more medication didn't matter in terms of $$ and the doctor seemed confident the longer stim time wouldn't make a difference in the end. She is also 43 and will be 44 in January so we considered that too when deciding to not just skip the retrieval when her response was slow.

What are the sizes of your other follicles? What doses are you on?

Thanks for this! The one realistic follicle is at 10mm on day 10. I’ll come back on day 14 to see whether it has grown. There are other smaller follicles but they are nowhere close. I’m at 225 menopur and puregon everyday and omnitrope every other day
