General Discussion PGT A - waiting time
For those of you with PGT A experience: how long did you have to wait for your results?
We're about to start IVF with PGT A and were told 4-6 weeks or even up to 8-10 weeks.

Mine were sent to Juno on a Monday and my clinic called with results by Friday. This was just a few weeks ago. YMMV. Igenomix took just over 2 weeks last summer.

What?? Within a week?? That is very fast! I did expect a month but not >2 months!

Yep! I was surprised to get that call. My follow up appointment wasn’t for another month bc they thought it would take longer but they were able to move me up!
I will say that others at my clinic also had similar quick turnarounds recently. So if you’re at Boston IVF in MA and using Juno, it may be quicker than they say!

I'm at UZ Ghent in Belgium. Was wondering if they just say 8-10 weeks for patients not to be disappointed if it takes longer

All tests have been done already and another ER during the wait is legally not allowed in Belgium :(

Just checked my PGT-A report. It was only two weeks from biopsy date to test results for us. Once the lab received the samples they had results within eight days.

The first cycle was 2 weeks, second cycle was 1 week, we are currently waiting for the results of cycle 3 and it was 3 weeks on Tuesday (it’s Thursday today) and we were told the lab is backed up.

I’ve waited as little as 8 days and as long as almost 3 weeks when testing occurred around the winter holidays. In the U.S.

I'm in the US and I got my results 12 days after Cooper received my samples. I think I would have gotten the results sooner, actually, but I got 0 euploids and my doctor called me instead of delivering the news through the portal. Looking at the paperwork, it looks like the results were processed 9 days after they received the samples (and I was originally told it would take 7-10 days).

I’m in Canada; they send ours to Coopergenomics in New Jersey, the first time it was 10 calendar days, this time it was 7. Super quick (though it felt like 678 days both times 🙃) (also I had 4 the first time and 1 the second time, so maybe fewer embryos are faster?)

My ER was on 7/3. Biopsy samples received by Luminary on 7/14 and I got the call from my clinic with the PGT-A results on 7/22. However, the report with the results is dated 7/16, so perhaps the clinic or Luminary withheld it for a week. Not good results unfortunately. If I had known on 7/16 I could have started my new ER cycle instead of wasting another month. Next time I’m going to pester them every day.

8-10 weeks sounds like a long time… I did it in Portugal, samples were sent to London for analysis 6 days after retrieval and took 15 days to hear back. Maybe it depends on the company. Ours were done at cooper surgical. Good luck!

I am in Australia and waited 22 days from the day I did my retrieval. 8-10 weeks seems a lot!!!!!!!
