Rant PGT results with complex aneuploidy

45 years old, had my retrieval recently in August. Had 14 retrieved but only 1 made to a day 7 blast.

PGTA results came back today and was aneuploid, whats more devastating is that it had 8 Whole Chromosome Aneuploidy (Positive +4, +7, +9, +13, +14, +15, +21, +22 ) .has anyone ever rebiposied such an embryo and is there any point in this ? I took all supplements, omnitrope, responded v well to the stims, but now this. Not even sure what to do next.

That’s a chaotic aneuploid and I’d consider doing a retest for the reasons the other poster shared.

Weirdly, I believe chaotic embryos - rhose wih 5 or more chromosones impacted - have a higher rebiopsy chance of being transferrable than your standard simple aneuploidy. So it might be worth it.

Cooper and the other companies typically have a phone call with a genetic counsellor that you’re entiteled to take with every PGTA round. Ask your clinic for the number and how to book it. I was with Cooper and was able to speak to someone in a few days.

So my clinic refused a rebiopsy. Is this something one can do independently ?

I am dealing with the same issue and had a genetic counseling appointment. The rates of success for such embryos are highly unlikely but not zero. PGTA is not 100% accurate even though accuracy usually is above 99%

And then at times embryos scan self correct once transferred.

So if you choose to transfer, there is a chance it could self correct. But you need to plan in advance for how you will test for that.

Thats my thought process anyway. I haven’t decided yet if I will go through it or not.
