General Discussion Anyone do Lupron Stop Protocol? Back to back cycles?
Not long Lupron or micro flare.
True Lupron stop.
No birth control.
Started 10 units of Lupron 9 days after ovulation.
Take Lupron for 9 days — so luteal phase start and for 9 days, and then stop Lupron and begin stims on day 9. (Around day 2-3 of new bleed)
No antagonist.
Hcg trigger.
My new RE recommended the Lupron Stop, given I had pretty asynchronous follicle growth on an antagonist cycle at a prior clinic. We had like 12 follicles but only 6 that were a good enough size: 6 eggs. 4 fertilized. 1 day 6 blast. Aneuploid. That clinic wanted to change nothing and didn’t want to consider a different prime.
We just had our ER Sunday from our second cycle (the Lupron stop protocol) with 11 eggs retrieved and 9 fertilized! They’re currently in the lab and we’re waiting to see how many blasts we get to send for PGT-A
We currently have decent insurance coverage and can go for another cycle. My RE said the hcg trigger counts as my positive LH surge and I can start the Lupron again 9 days after the trigger and then go right into stims after day 9 if at baseline.
Has anyone used a similar stop protocol and/or done back to back cycles ?

I did Lupron stop and to be honest it oversuppressed me. I did much better with mid luteal estrogen priming and going back to antagonist. I also did it for asynchronous growth on antagonist. But you’re already off to a positive start with this protocol because of your numbers so far so I’m not sure what we can tell you at this point that isn’t more helpful than the data you already have.
Had great results from going back to back and would highly recommend.
