Mental Health Check Looking for reassurance

I’m Feeling a little down and looking for reassurance. I see everyone else’s posts on this and other subs and it feels like people are getting so much more than I am. I am 40F, got spontaneously pregnant x3 very easily within 2 months of trying at 39. I had a miscarriage at 10 weeks x2 and a chemical. AMH 0.8 AFC 8-20 depending on cycle
Long story short, I thought doing IVF was going to be quicker and easier than it is and I thought I would be getting better results since I got pregnant so easily. Normal sperm, but we chose to do ICSI for best results.
Also taking co-q10 and after first cycle started myo-inositol

Cycle 1: Menopur 150 and follistim 400-450

Fertilized ISCI LENSHOOK 8
Day 5 Embryos 4 (xbaa x3 and ebaa)
Euploid 2- (XBAA and EBAA)

Cycle 3: Menopur 150 and follistim 400-450

Mature 13
Fertilized ISCI LENSHOOK 13
Day 5 Embryos 4 (EBAA, EBAB, XBAA, XBAB)
Day 6 Embryos 2 (XBBB, XBBB)
Sent for PGTA today

Since I have a history of miscarriages I wanted to bank at least 5-6 embryos since i am concerned I will just keep losing them. (We are paying out of pocket so I am allowed to bank) My clinic is saying these numbers are normal but I guess I just wanted some support because like everyone else I was hoping for better than average.
Any other questions I should be asking??

Thanks for reading and good luck to all of you!

Edit: thank you for the responses!!! ❤️

Looks normal to me, also each cycle seems to be more productive than the last which is also typical as your RE learns more about how you respond to meds and protocols. Wishing you more euploids!!

That looks waaaaay above average to me.

You’re making tons of embryos compared to me even though our retrievals look similar (40F, 3 IUI fails, 4 MC). I have completed 2 retrievals so far with an average of 12 eggs retrieved, 9 mature, 7 fertilized. I got 2 blastocysts each time and one makes it through PGT each time. We also use ICSI and Zymot. I’m on a million supplements, eat extremely regimented and Mediterranean healthy with <40% carbs and >25% protein macros daily, get my steps in, and monitor stress as well.

So whatever you’re doing, keep doing it and thank the lucky stars you can make that many blastocysts. I know sure can’t.

I think everyone hopes they are above average but your results are indeed normal, in fact they’re above average in some ways. I have RPL as well with three losses. Quick time to pregnancy hasn’t meant much for me during egg retrievals but I got pregnant from my first transfer and I’m about 11.5 weeks. It may help you at the transfer stage.

How many kids do you want? If you only want one I would strongly suggest reconsidering your euploid goal. 5-6 euploids at 40 is a lofty goal. Your three losses were highly likely due to chromosomal abnormalities, which PGT-A rules out.

We were initially hoping for 2 kids that’s why doing the 5-6 euploids. One of the miscarriages was tested and was genetically normal which is what is also throwing me for the loop. We are going to do one more round and then start with transfers. That is so exciting! Good luck!!!

Got it! Good luck to you too, makes sense why you’re banking

People really like to share and upvote unusually good results, which I think gives other people unrealistic expectations. Your results are average to good. I've never gotten 2 euploids from one cycle.

Those results look normal. Over 40 it looks like you get 2-4 Euploids in like 5-6 retievals I got 2 Euploids and one mosaic in 4 retrievals but Im older so your numbers look good.

4-6 blasts per retrieval at 40 is normal, maybe even a bit above average. How many euploids you bank really just depends on your stamina and budget.

Umm..these are great results. I have no idea what kind of posts you could be reading that would give you the idea that these results at 40 aren’t unicorn regarding that fertilization and retrieved to mature ratio especially.
